Using a range of methodologies to define, deliver and document client solutions within the Aviation industry. Due to the size, complexity and operational nature of the organisation (Manchester Airport Group), Stakeholder engagement was a key factor to effective delivery in meeting both business targets and budgetary control. Projects include:Airport Terminal Security SystemsDelivery of technology security solutions within the inbound and outbound passenger security areas of a new Airport terminal. Working as part of a large team, this was a complex delivery from specification through to deployment. It encompassed both the expansion to existing systems as well as development and integration of new technologies in order to comply with operational and regulatory requirements. .Group Firewall ReplacementUpgrade and migration of existing multi site firewalls to new hardware and software platforms. This comprised the alignment of the existing configuration with the integration of fully tolerant enhanced technologies as a business standard. A critical element during delivery was the minimal downtime and disruption to prevent any outage to business operations.Enterprise Asset Management SystemDefinition and provision of Apple hardware, Telecoms infrastructure and IBM Maximo software configuration. The deliverable was to facilitate online/offline client operations to manage, monitor and report on the enterprise assets across multiple locations.Divestment IT OperationsManagement of the segregation of IT systems after the divestment of an Airport from the group portfolio. Involved a large element of negotiation with the buyer to ensure continued operations post sale whilst also maintaining data integrity, security and complying with regulations.
