Developed multiple trainings for various governmental agencies, including ORR, VA, TriWest, OHRS, and FEMA. These included Virtual Instructor Lead Training, Web-Based Training, Quick Reference Guides, and other training modalities. Provided the Air University with support in development of instructors’ Canvas accounts. Developed Air University’s Teaching and Learning Center’s Canvas Assist and Support Team’s (CAST) Canvas support Portal. Modified existing resources into a comprehensive Canvas Users Guide specifically for the Air University. Developed self-paced training courses for faculty and administrators to provide them with training in canvas. Developed a basic canvas training course for students to take upon entering Air University. Performed course analytics on all training to gauge course performance. Conducted focus groups to identify biggest needs for Air University faculty and staff.

Provide development of curricula, training modules and learning objects to enhance the ability of the AUTLC to promote faculty development and student learning. Develop and/or modify in accordance with proper Instructional Systems Design (ISD) guidelines; courses, lessons, presentations, training materials, scaffolds or other learning objects supporting the AUTLC’s objective to optimize faculty expertise and development and/or student learning and performance. Provide recommendations and solutions to address the technical and education challenges encountered with online or asynchronous learning programs, courses, modules, or objects including new and advanced learning technology products and capabilities to promote and maximize teaching and learning effectiveness. Inform and instruct AUTLC personnel and AU faculty regarding best practices for effective ISD and the latest educational methods, tools, and techniques for the development of learning objects and training modules. Assist the AUTLC and University assessments functions with comprehensive assessments of education and training courses created or managed by the AUTLC. Provide reviews and recommendations for improvement for courses, lessons and learning objects owned AU schools and programs.

Maintain currency of existing web-based course. Review feedback data to determine necessary changes for the course. Develop the end of course package electronically for course director modification and then incorporate any changes into the accepted format according to Eaker Center guidelines. Assist in preparing the package for course director signature seven days after course completion; Instruct students in coaching course using Conference Lines for audio and government provided webinar service using a webcam and employing the chat function. Review student works in discussion boards and provides them feedback. Keep a data bank of frequently used feedback to use as a basis for your feedback and then personalize to the student.Review student progress in exercises, quizzes, and other interactive activities for participants. Give feedback to students as needed and remediate them; Engage with students via phone or email if they indicate a challenge with the technology, curriculum or completing the course.
