Spearheaded all IT related technologies and functions of the organization, including direct responsibility for the security of bank data and customer information residing on bank servers. Successfully created custom Visual Basic scripts capable of running from a remote location and allowing all NetWare servers to be retired. Migrated data to a new Windows domain, and joined all workstations to the domain. Scripted migration was 100% successful, leading to cost savings of $10K. Enhanced security through the development and deployment of in-house solutions, saving the organization $30K. Installed “bundled” redundant T1 circuits and 3DES VPNs between the corporate office and all branches, which resulted in increased bandwidth, security, and fault tolerance. Redesigned the Fiserv CBS AS/400 security model by creating group profiles based on departmental requirements, resulting in annual cost savings of $10K.ACCOMPLISHMENTSRetired all Novell NetWare servers and migrated to a Windows Domain using custom scripts from a remote location. Saved $10K compared to a typical on-premise migration and took only minutes to complete. Modified servers and workstations were distributed across five differentlocations in California.
