I have recently been successful in completing four years at Heriot-Watt University and obtained a First-class Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng). During my mechanical engineering degree, I specialised in modules such as: Machine Learning, Materials Engineering, Design and Manufacture, Control Systems, and Business and Sustainability. Inspired by a passion for engineering and innovation, I particularly enjoyed both my machine learning modules and my design modules. Having also taken an active part in university and work-based engineering projects, I have gained valuable insight on what it is like to work within a multidisciplinary team. These experiences have allowed me to further develop my ability to navigate the associated challenges that present themselves when working on such projects. Furthermore, these experiences have only continued to encourage and nurture my communication and team-working skills. I have also successfully completed two semesters at Heriot-Watt’s Malaysia campus and worked in places such as Norway and New Zealand. These international opportunities have allowed me to develop my independence and have given me a chance to prove my personal responsibility, adaptability, and resilience.Alongside my educational journey, I have also had the opportunity to gain valuable skills as a labourer, bartender, waiter, receptionist, and assistant realtor.
