As Service Manager I'm responsible for the domestic Service department of Emerson Process Management, as well as the training department. I'm a people manager with a strong interest in the personal needs of my team members, with the goal to develop them further both personal and professional. Besides that supporting the operational management of the department and replacing them in case of absence.My main tasks consisted of: participating in several organisation wide improvement projects, implementing changes, among which introducing new and altered processes and procedures, initiating improvement actions in the case of residual results, measuring and securing the quality provided, drafting reports, organising audits, organising the timely creation and realisation of education and training for the engineers in the newly created support department in the Czech Republic.

As Incident Manager I was responsible for the daily operations of the 1st and 2nd line support department for the EMEA region, consisting of averagely 12 engineers. My main tasks consisted of: managing escalations and emergencies, determining priorities, assigning incidents, guarding and monitoring the completion of the incidents of the department in accordance with the contractually agreed Service Level Agreement, coaching and mentoring new engineers, planning of nightly activities and small projects, guarding resource levels and workload, processing leave requests, drafting weekly and monthly reports.
