I joined the Merck Network Planning Team to help coordinate the successful Organon Network (and Print, AV, and Voice) Turn-ups in over 80 sites around the globe (in 64 different countries) Supported the transition of opening/modification (of Merck Site) to become the Organon new/existing (either take over or bifurcated) sites and also helped open additional new sites that are being added to the list of Organon locations.

Planned, managed, and coordinated, and successfully implemented various projects including the Prudential US Data Center migration project and Microsoft Windows 10 & Office 365 Migration for Group Insurance. Planned, managed, and coordinated Group Insurance's changes associated with our Enterprise US Data Center Migration Project this was a multi-year project that including upgrading all of the Infrastructure components for all of Group Insurances applications (72 major applications and 300 Windows & UNIX servers). In addition to migrating the servers, I also managed the migration of NAS Storage Data, Network Address Translations leverage by B2B clients, Virtual Desktop Migrations, and other related data center changes.For the Windows 10 Migration, this was also a multiyear project that migrated over 2400 people and 4000 machines from Windows 7 to Windows 10 LTSB, then on to Win 10 SAC 1803. Successfully interacted with over 30 business unit champions represented each of the business' needs during the migration.Migrated all Group Insurance software installation solution to be moved to "AppV5 (latest Microsoft solution)" and also move all solutions to be "user based (as opposed to machine based)".Office 365 Migration - Managed the successful migration of Prudential Group Insurance from Lotus Notes email to Outlook (email) and the Microsoft O365 Suite of Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, and MS Teams). Coordinated the successful migration of GI IT Supported Applications as well as supporting the "Business Owned" solutions supported outside of IT). Successfully upgraded GI IT Application Servers to Office 2016 in weeks, rather than in months as originally planned. Supported the Business Sustainability Projects for the GI IT Infrastructure Team.

Developed new Infrastructure Support team for GI Information Technology - Creation of new Desktop, Windows & Unix Servers, and Batch Monitoring Support teams. Pioneered & Led Splunk Monitoring in GI for Prudential. Supported implementation of Service Now solutions for both GI & the Prudential Enterprise. Supported the implementation of Dev Ops in Group Insurance IT. This also allowed us to leverage Agile Methodologies within IT. Created GI IT Health Check Report/Web Site to monitor, manage, and prioritize timely and cost efficient enhancements to the GI Infrastructure.Worked with team to implement the Oracle Data Appliance (ODA) within Prudential to provide a automated DB device fail over solution for GI.Coordinated the planing and successfully testing for the migration to Internet Explorer 11 for all of Group Insurance IT Supported applications.

Lead the support of the Group Insurance (GI) Sales Offices. Supported IT needs for over 30 remote sales offices (over 200 Sales Associates) across the United States. Provided cutting edge technology solutions for members of the Sales Organization. Supported mobile devices from Blackberry devices and the eventual migration to iPhone and iPad solutions for sales associated to help improved their ability to provide world class support to clients and prospective customers.Supported our Business Information Security Office to help pioneer to build ways to lock down new portable storage devices including USB drives and iPad solutions. Represented Group Insurance as the Business End User Customer Council & Wireless / Mobile Computing Council to enhance technologies implemented for Group Insurance.Lead the IT Team to support the Group Insurance corporate office migration of over 1400 people into our new Roseland NJ office. Worked with both business unit leads and the Prudential real estate team to successfully migrate people into the new office.Successfully supported the GI IT Application migrations to be able to migrate to Internet Explorer 8. Expanded use of Video Teleconferencing within Prudential Group Insurance. Designed & Implemented Video teleconferencing rooms across the country and multiple rooms in our corporate home offices (NJ & PA) for Group Insurance.Piloted and established Prudential's implementation of WebEx across the Prudential Enterprise. This solution help improve our client & potential customer interface with Group Insurance Sales Associates. Supported CEO (town hall communications), and Sales Presentations both in our corporate office and at remote locations (for Sales Conferences). Established and supported a IT testing environment to support testing of GI IT solutions, Sale Office new Technology solutions, as well as supporting various business technology needs not primarily supported by GI IT.

Coordinated and planned the Migration from Windows XP to Windows NT for Desktops (over 2200 people) and migrated over 100 Windows server from NT to Windows 2000/Windows 2003.Piloted and implemented solution to "Scan on Demand" into PDF (by sending file directly to the person's email) to leverage data capture using leading edge HP Scanning device to capture and electronically store information previous capture in paper form.Implemented the Business Engine Network (BEN) to support time tracking to document time spent on projects requested by the business. Maintain the CENTRA and OnDemand Training Applications for Group Insurance. Including implementing eMeeting & content catalog functionality.Supported GI IT Budget monitoring requests for GI IT Leadership to track and find ways of saving and/or reduce on going expenditures. Support various IT needs for Group Insurance. Supported budget monitoring, Supported GI Sales Offices. Including participating in site visits to determine impacts to GI IT Applications performance in sites with networks initially designed to original manage mainframe solutions as we were increasing the use of distributed computing solutions.Managed MS Access DB conversion project to find ways to retire and move this functionality into existing GI IT Supported Application and to improve the security of the data stored withing the Access DB solutions.Migrated GI to leverage a centralized print server migration of 30 remote print servers to find over $150,000 year in on-going savings (also saving a one time saving of an addition $140,000).
