Laboratory Analyst
Current•Operate GC-MS, GC-MS/MS and GC-FID systems, including troubleshooting and repairs to maintain all aspects of the analytical system in working order.•Interpret data and report results for a wide range of analyses such as BTEX, VOC, PAH, Phenols, Tetraethyllead, Pesticides and Butyltin compounds. Experienced with the use of Chemstation and MassHunter software and the use of NIST database to identify unknown contaminants.•Prioritize workload based on client requirements and verify that all quality control requirements are satisfied.•Participate in internal and external audits to evaluate effectiveness of standard operating procedures.•Provide insight towards improvement of standard operating procedures and development of new analytical methods.•Provide training and guidance for junior staff and new hires.
