The Lead Organizer (LO) is an experienced community organizer and campaigner who believes strongly in building community leadership and power. The LO's main job is to recruit and engage members and help them become leaders in campaigns for local, state, and federal issues.Working closely with the organizing department director, the Lead Organizer also manages and supports the organizing department. This involves addressing any problems organizers face, setting goals for the organizing team, encouraging leadership within the team, and helping members develop their leadership skills.
