As Delivery Lead for the TEAM2100 programme, managed the nationally critical infrastructure that protects central London and the Thames Estuary from tidal flooding, including the largest investment in the Thames Barrier since its construction. Worked as part of an integrated leadership team, provided direction across multiple organisations comprising the Project 13 model Enterprise PMO.Gained significant experience in leading component appraisals through internal approval processes and through board approvals, building appraisal teams and agreeing review and governance structures. • Thrived as the Delivery Manager for the programme, managing a team of 30 within a much larger team of 150. Led the appraisal of numerous project level appraisals (£5m to £30m) all delivered to the HMT Green Book/ 5 case model. Initiated concept and completed the business case, stakeholder engagement and delivery vehicle for regional scale pilot of CRM platform (Microsoft Dynamics) working for the Environment Agency and Defra to manage the interdependencies of a common customer data set. Led significant digital change programme moving all systems for the PMO enterprise to Siemens Mendix and developed platform that was successful in securing further government funding under InnovateUK’s competition Transforming UK Construction Competition Held direct responsibility for the delivery of approximately £25m of capital works annually, across approximately fifty live projects.

Oversaw the commercial and human resource management of the Arcadis Developer Services Account at Thames Water, with direct responsibility for a team of approximately ten staff (primarily commercial managers and quantity surveyors) and over £1m in professional service fees annually. Maintained responsibility as a Project Manager for a portfolio of capital projects with project values up to £3M and an overall portfolio of around £35M per annum

Project Manager for USD 150 million project in Sindh Province, Pakistan to rehabilitate Guddu Barrage on the River Indus, securing irrigation supply for over 1 million people. Working with the World Bank and the Government of Sindh, completed the business case working with experts to value the economic benefits secured through crop production, flood control and national resilience. Secured over 150 million USD financing through World Bank IFC and Government of Pakistan. Managed the procurement and design for the project within a politically complex environment.More widely, as Team Leader for ten Engineers and Project Managers, providing consultancy services primarily to design and construct large hydraulic structures, dams, barrages and other river infrastructure for large scale irrigation, hydropower and flood control. Developed business cases and financial models for complex, high value projects for the public and private sector, often for renewable energy projects with limited recourse project finance.Held full responsibility for providing advice to foreign government and private sector clients on occasion at ministerial and C-suite level.Championed the delivery of a portfolio of design and construction projects for major, including several commissions worth over £1m in professional services fees.
