Rob has been in wealth management since 1998 and has lived in Calgary for over 45 years. Known for his proactive thinking, sense of urgency and genuine care, Rob specializes in solutions for individuals and families with complex financial situations as well as corporations, institutions and municipalities.Rob is an Honours Graduate of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University. He is a Portfolio Manager and a Certified Investment Management Analyst with his Chartered Investment Manager, Options and Canadian Securities Institute designations Rob is licensed by The Alberta Insurance Council for life insurance and accident and sickness insurance. Dedicated to the integrity of the firm, Rob was a Member of the ScotiaMcLeod Advisory Board for 6 years. He is the current chair of their McLeod Advisor Conference and is a founder and past Chair of the Share the Wealth Foundation that lends support to advisors’ charities nationally.Rob’s family are fervent and accomplished skiers and spent 6 years as member of the Team Panorama Ski Club Board, including its President. Family is at the forefront and he volunteers his time to issues and boards focused on causes relating to children at risk, the arts, education and politics. Rob was named 2021’s Honoured Hero for the Prairies and is a member of the Executive Leadership Committee for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada and the Light the Night campaign in 2021. He was the 2022 Doc Seaman Individual Philanthropist – Generosity of Spirit Award Winner. This past year Rob was the recipient of the D.I. McLeod Distinction Award, one of only 4 people to have received that award over the 100 year history of the firm.
