Intertek, a FTSE 100 company is the world’s largest responsible sourcing services third party company, which works with companies to help them understand their supply chain from a risk & compliance management and capacity building perspective. The core responsibility of my role was business development; growing the global and local supplier management business in Europe, while at the same time helping companies to achieve greater transparency on human rights issues like modern slavery and child labour within their supply chains. This involved developing business plans and strategies to attract new clients while driving organic growth of existing clients to adopt Intertek's diversified portfolio of supplier management services and then working with the global and local teams to execute such plans.

Impact 2030 is a partnership of the United Nations Office for Partnerships and Private Sector companies to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals by means of employee volunteering programs through the year 2030.This will be accomplished by formation of GIACV Working Groups, comprised of stakeholders from multiple sectors reflecting various regions across the Global South and North. This process will connect the private sector directly to relevant UN research and expertise, provide a global framework to measure collective and regional impact and allow a mechanism for companies to partner with UN Member States for greater impact. The results will be announced and examined at a biannual summit at the United Nations to promote progress and address challenges.Regional Voice Leads will act as contacts, facilitators, information resources, and ambassadors of the GIACV. RVLs are responsible for the incorporation and representation of regional elements in the GIACV operations. I am the main representative of Asia, ensuring global representation and context.
