I currently work as an Administrative Support Specialist at a concierge functional medical practice, and part-time as a certified Reiki Master and Guided Meditation Instructor. My previous work experience includes a history of working in a busy emergency room and the management consulting industry. I am skilled in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Coaching, Sales, Team Building, and Management. My previous positions include roles at BID-Needham Emergency Department, Predictive Advisors, LLC, and the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in Boston, MA. At BIDMC, I worked in various capacities, such as an Administrative Assistant for the Administrator of the Department of Surgery, a Medical Staff Coordinator for the Office of the Executive Vice President, and an Administrative Assistant for the Office of the President. Before BIDMC, I served as a paralegal for a law firm in downtown Boston. In addition to my experience in healthcare and law, I have extensive involvement with non-profit organizations. I was involved with the National Charity League, Inc., Blue Hills Chapter, where I served as the Chapter's Board President from 2015-2017 and the Immediate-past Board President from 2017-2018. I also worked as a Chapter Liaison to the American Cancer Society. I participated in the Epilepsy Foundation New England Youth Leadership Network. Previously, I volunteered with educational entities and various philanthropic organizations while raising a family. I am a strong healthcare services professional with an Associate's Degree focused in Design and Applied Arts from Mount Ida College. Additionally, I completed additional coursework at Boston College and Suffolk University.
