The field of communications has been the work I've been most passionate about in my 30 plus years career. What my company and skills are able to do now is bring the tools I've learned to the table to help motivate, network, teach, merge and cross culturally engage groups to move forward in a world where communications has exploded! Our world has become a stage for social media of all kinds and people need to understand that. Just by placing my information on this website LinkedIn gives me the ability to help engage people into what it is I can do for their organizations and or companies. Does this social media site work? Only if people are just trying to find out more information about you and who you are. Is it worth it? I guess to an extent, depending on how you are trying to use it. Is it a great place to move into a new job or adventure? Ask me that when it happens. I'd like to know has this tool (LinkedIn) really linked folks up to good opportunities career wise ad in business. As a communicator, keeping it real and continuing to move forward!
