During my education I was exposed to many areas of geology and was able to participate in ground surveys, drill core/chip logging, trench and underground mapping, and learned to identify and describe various rocks, minerals, and alteration styles in both hand sample and thin section. During my graduate research I was involved in surface mapping, rock sampling and analyses involving XRD, XRF, ICP-MS, and SEM, and produced several technical reports, thesis and dissertation manuscripts, and scientific publications. My experience as a Staff Geologist at Mine Development Associates involved critical responsibilities, such as digitizing, data integration and creating 2D and 3D models. I was also often involved in quality assurance and quality control of both databases and models and participated in editing technical reports. In addition to my geological science background, I have had a variety of additional experiences that will contribute to my ability to serve my team and my clients well. At Jefferson County Communications Center Authority, I gained valuable experience in efficiently handling emergency and non-emergency calls, demonstrating my ability to maintain composure and provide excellent customer service even in high-pressure situations. Additionally, my tenure as a Business Owner of TAV Properties and Robin's Nest Gourmet Fare equipped me with invaluable skills in budgeting, project management, and customer service, all of which are essential to succeed in a collaborative team environment.My background, which includes considerable progress toward my Ph.D. in economic geology as a Graduate Research Assistant at Ralph J. Roberts Center for Research in Economic Geology, and my tenure at Mine Development Associates provides me with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities and attests to my strong work ethic. The publications I have authored related to the New Madrid Seismic Zone, and geochemical characterization and geochronology of igneous rocks along the Getchell Gold Trend, showcase my ability to contribute valuable insights to technical reports and presentations.
