Assistant System Engineer (Data Centre)
CurrentData centre critical facilities management and control* Responsible for the support and maintenance of the critical facilities at data centres including the precision air-cons,UPS, generators, water detection and fire protection equipment and all environment monitoring and support system*Manage the movement of IT equipment in and out of the data centre and maintain up-to-date documentation on data centre facilities including electricial and heat loads, space allocation and layout of the IT equipment and racks in the data centres*Monitor and perform ongoing analysis of resources ultilization trends, capacity planning and necessary faciity upgrades to meet the needs of our mission-critical operations and energy effciency standards of the data centre*Ensure the smooth running of the critical facilities to meet all key performance indicators (KPI) for Data Centre Operations*Partipate proactively in systems projects to ensure that data centre production requirements are addressed during specifications and implementations*Assist in backup/restore all shared folders*Keep up to date all operational procedures to ensure that the data centres are secure and properly controlled so as to prevent any damage or loss of data/assets or undesirable distruption to production environment *Carry out any other duties assigned from time to time
