Cost Basis Analysis and Tracking System:Key Accomplishment: Being a key driver and expert contributor to the delivery of cost basis data to all Schwab customers before the data was mandated by TARP. Delivering cost basis data to customers via real-time online access, on account statements, and on 1099’s. Performed production data and systems validation on Y2k and was in place to act as “disaster coordinator” for 401k and Trust Operations.Wells Y2k 1997 – 1998: Y2k System Analyst and QA Validation in Bankwide Testing Y2k. - Created a small company to do web design, training, and photography: Sitewright - Provided computer training and built a custom tracking system in MS Access for the health and safety officer at Westar Marine Services, San Francisco CA.- Provided extensive digital photography and web design (partner/husband built the commercial website) http://www.theringman.com (no longer online, owner retired).

- 1992 – 1996 Business Analyst - Strategic Initiatives: Wrote business and functional specifications for multiple projects. Worked as SME on multiple projects. Trained junior staff. Executed QA and root-cause analysis; completed detailed data analysis and data mapping on larger core brokerage systems (balances, transactions, general ledger, stock record, etc.) Assured all systems and system modifications met user requirements and all applicable policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and laws.- 1989 – 1992 Tax Analyst: Wrote business and functional requirements for various tax system enhancements. Defined IRS-mandated modifications in brokerage reporting requirements. Wrote company-wide training materials. “Trained the Trainers” at multiple Schwab locations in the US. Trained and supervised the annual tax team to assist and resolve customer issues/questions. Provided detailed expert customer service during tax season for any difficult issues escalated from branch offices or service centers. Consulted with tax attorneys, state governments, tax data vendors, and other experts to resolve customer issues and questions.

- 1987 – 1989 Control Specialist: Did clearing and suspense account reconciliation and balancing for all funds and shares (in and out) for all company Corporate Action (CA) processing. Designed business functionality for a new CA system. Did vendor gap analysis, functional design, data mapping and QA for new processing system. - 1985 – 1987 Corporate Actions processing: Did all phases of voluntary and mandatory CA processing and reconciliation. Sent to Chicago as CA SME to oversee reconciliation and integration of CA and Proxy data from a small brokerage firm acquired by Schwab (Rose & Co). - 1984 – 1985 Legal Clerk: Assessed stock certificates and bonds for negotiability and prepared them for deposit. Coordinated with branch personnel and directly with customers to obtain needed legal documentation of ownership and release. Performed many back-office functions, including: data analysis, creating and updating procedural guidelines, participating in regulatory inventories, etc.
