I have spent my 25+ year career working in public relations helping health care companies and their subject matter experts increase their brand awareness. I helped establish our firm’s Thought Leadership Practice and develop award-winning media relations campaigns for clients across the country. Partnering with hospitals, health systems and other health care focused organizations, I have generated hundreds of national, regional, local and industry media placements including the covers of Modern Healthcare and HealthLeaders and placements in Becker’s Hospital Review, HFM Magazine, STAT, Fierce, Managed Healthcare Executive, Healthcare IT News, Chief Healthcare Executive and many others. Coverage I have secured has been syndicated in publications including USAToday, NPR, KFF News, Reuters and the Associated Press. I regularly place clients as speakers at industry events and help secure industry awards, and then leverage those accomplishments across paid, owned and social channels.I have received numerous awards for my creative work in the areas of collateral development, advertising and marketing, and I am especially skilled at video production and the management of multimedia creative campaigns. I have received dozens of awards from the Public Relations Society of America and the International Association of Business Communicators.I am a former Board Member and Secretary of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and a former board member of the Nashville Chapter of the National Leukemia Society. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations with a minor in business management from the University of Alabama, and besides my few years in Tuscaloosa, Nashville has always been my home.
