• Responsible for the daily AR/AP functions from setting up new accounts, sales tax coding, collections, check runs, deposits, etc. while maintaining accurate data using QuickBooks Enterprise.• Perform all monthly closings, including State Sales Tax filing, GL entries, reconciliation of bank and credit card statements, calculating sales force commissions, review financial reports including the P&L, balance sheet, cash flow reports.• Worked closely with the CPA and provide all year end documentation needed for the yearly closing and reporting of financials; provide 1099 information for reporting to the IRS.• Communicate on a regular basis the status of all open projects, developments, or issues with Owner.• Responsible for payroll processing through iSolved Payroll platform including Simple IRA filing and health insurance stipends.

Responsible for the daily/monthly accounting activity for 4-5 businesses. Ranging from restaurants, landscaper, architects, etc.

Effectively manage all aspects of the accounting for the company for 2 locations within NC including and not limited to:Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, out sourcing Payroll, Human Resources responsibilities, and oversaw 4-5 employees with their daily tasks within the two branches.Organizing the start up of new projects including processing the Subcontractors Contract Agreements, Purchase Orders, and acquiring the Certificate of Insurance and Payment & Performance Bonds.Analyzed the monthly balance sheet, profit & loss statement, reconciled monthly sales & use tax, reconciled bank statements (6 accounts) including on-line transfers of funds from one account to another.At year-end worked closely with CPA firm with closing of the years financial statements and making the required journal entries.Worked closely with President and Vice-President on various tasks including; health insurance renewals, employee handbook and policies, new equipment purchases and the day-to-day activities of the company.
