Fountainhead focuses on packaging and print design. As a mid-weight designer my responsibilities included print design, including interior office space re-design, packaging work, marketing booklets, brochures, billboards, and print advertisements. As I have experience doing Wordpress customisation I was able to offer this as a service to their clients as well.

I began working at Primedia Broadcasting in October of 2016. Primedia Broadcasting owns Kfm, Cape Talk, 947 and 702, and broadcasts from their offices in Cape Town and Johannesburg.My responsibilities were as an all round designer. As I have some experience with CSS and HTML, I was tasked to customise competition pages on all the stations websites, as well as to design mailers and banners.Alongside this I would also create marketing material for any marketing or sales events and activations. These were essentially small branding exercises - themed according to the intention of the activation / brunch / summit, and allowed me to work closely with the sales and marketing departments.I would also create look and feel for any station campaigns. These were initiatives or competitions run by the station, through one of their shows ie. Kfm Mornings, or ‘The Money Show’ with Bruce Whitfield on 702. Almost all of these were created with a sponsoring brand, with some of the brands we worked with including RMB ( Rand Merchant Bank ), Dischem, Nando’s, and Ster Kinekor.The stations would also throw events, such as Cape Talk’s Moonstruck - A one day music and culture festival on Clifton 4th, sponsored by Simply Asia, and Kfm’s Huawei Kday - Also a one day music event, featuring a full day’s lineup of local artists including Youngsta, AKA, Kurt Darren, Majozi, Shekianah and more. In 2018 Kday was Attended by 15 000 people.For these events we would establish a look and feel, and roll it out across the stations online spaces, as well as the on-the-day print media - signs, posters, billboards etc.

I worked at Kidz Industries for a short period, working on redesigning one of their client's website, and designing assets for mini games for kids - an offering of their clients television network.

I worked for a short term contract with Superbalist.com as a designer. My job was to create online imagery for their website as well as social media collateral, for new competitions, product ranges, and brands, all in line with their branding.

At Life is Awesome my responsibilities included :• Web design - This was mostly using Wordpress and involved setting up clients accounts and designing sites for them from a selected template, as well as email signatures and digital artwork. • Print design - Responsibilities here would be designing anything from business cards to pull up banners and setting them up for print which Life is Awesome did in-house.• Client Relations - Much of my time was also used liaising directly with clients and building relationships with them in a professional manner.

Evly.com is a software company that focused on crowdsourcing, primarily using Facebook apps. These apps would be customised from Evlys template which allowed clients to pick and choose functionalities and customise their look and feel to best suit their brand. • Design - My main role when I began working there was to design proposal apps for the sales team to showcase the range of customisability of the apps, as well as customising live projects for paying clients. In this role I became very familiar with the Evly software and learned a lot about front end styling, cross-browser and general web considerations when it came to design. Eventually my role became solely customising the apps.

At Springleap my responsibilities included any and all design including web and print. • Web design - Springleap's website was always changing to better suit their community. I would be involved in discussions on how best to streamline the entry process for Springleap's design competitions, how to integrate new sections into the site and how to keep the brand identity consistent as well as fresh and unique. My main role was the creation of web banners for all the competitions Springleap was running. This would require me to design competition banners for companies like Lexus, Stimorol, Marmite, Hansa and many others. • T-shirt Printing - At the time I was working there Springleap's main competitions were T-shirt printing based. One of my main responsibilities was to set winning designs up for print and oversee the process with the printers. This involved screen printing which required colour matching, and digital printing.• Print design - I would also be in charge of any print requirements the company had i.e.. Business cards, expo banners, flyers etc.
