Provide technical guidance on the utilization of GIS software for the purpose of spatial data analysis and providing understanding of multiple variables in diverse geographic locations for customers. Act in a leadership role within the Quality Control Team by applying experience and judgement to prioritize daily work and plan and accomplish time-sensitive goals. Drive continuous improvement through learning, training, and process improvement. Facilitate generation of workflow documentation.• Utilize ESRI software, Global Mapper, PCI Geomatica, ENVI, and proprietary user interfaces to perform quality control on numerous raster and vector products produced by internal teams and outside vendors. Manage, analyze, and update data for over 20 raster and vector products by pulling information from various sources, and writing summary reports of analysis results. This quality control, data management and analyses ensure product deliverables are correct and meet specification. • Respond to customer inquiries about imagery and data issues. Use knowledge of geospatial and photogrammetric concepts to investigate issues with deliverables, and clearly describe these issues and possible solutions to customer care teams with appropriate level of technical detail, often for non-GIS users. • Develop customer-facing quality process documents to provide the appropriate level of information to stakeholder teams and lay audiences. Collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams to develop format and content. Documents are published to the company’s website and increase cooperation with sales teams and customer awareness of products. • Complete product validation analyses with newly developed and evolving processes and train three other team members by using technical knowledge and strict attention to detail. Establish beaseline confidence level in products and write reports used by sales teams for internal training and targeting revenue growth opportunities.
