I am responsible for supporting; implementing and deploying e-business order entry initiatives in the Annuity and Life insurance space on two separate Order Entry platforms. Initiatives range from small-scale production related to large scale, complex deliverables.I assist in requirements gathering, development of supporting documentation, and analyzing business requirements to determine the required product build features. I model and maintain carrier products according to IRI/ACORD Standards for PPfA/ PPfL, DPfA/DPfL on VTXml. Within the VTXml system, I model products, features, distribution agreements, commissions, funds, ownerships as well as more complex configurations. I then test to ensure the products function correctly on the Order Entry platforms and facilitate deployments to test regions and production environment. I also analyze business requirements to determine impact to forms, perform form gap analysis to identify potential custom question builds, and create and activate custom carrier or distributor questions on the platforms. I also support the implementation of e-Signature forms functionality. I use XML Spy to edit or create the Forms XML which is used by Ebix to define a forms library and form generation rules. I also use Adobe Acrobat to tag forms using Named Items or an Xpath reference. I then help to test to ensure the forms and questions function correctly on the Order Entry platforms.I analyze and resolve product production problems, and provide support to carriers, distributors and colleagues on modelling questions/issues.

PlanConnect (a subsidiary of AXA Distribution Holding Corporation) is a third party administrator for sponsors of 403(b) and 457(b) retirement savings plans, which are used by many government entities and nonprofit organizations. My current focus is on systems, operations and compliance. I oversee the day to day system processing, including monitoring straight-through processing jobs, handling complex client inquiries, and providing quality review for common remitting functions. I hold a Series 6 Registered Representative license, and have also undergone extensive training on retirement plan administration. I continuously participate in IRS and industry-related conferences, system conferences, webinars, and phone forums to stay current with new regulations and best practices for plan administration and the record keeping system we use.

I started at AXA Equitable in a position in the Group Universal Life area's Collections Department, then moved to the Equivest Collections Dept for Retirement Savings in 2005. There, I was a phone consultant for remittance discrepancies, then in late 2008 I headed a project to update sytems and implement new procedures for the new IRS 403(b) Regulations that came out. I then became the Team Leader for the Automated Collections area. In February of 2010, I then joined the new subsidiary launched by AXA - PlanConnect.
