Economic Development Team Manager
CurrentManages Economic Development Team, within Economy Division, Place Directorate of Council. The service and projects portfolio of the team encompasses inward investment (in partnership with Invest in Bristol and Bath), local enterprise start up, growth and finance, social enterprise and investment, key sectors development, green economy (including Bristol EU Green Capital 2015 initiatives), local centres and high streets, employment land planning and development, and area-based economic development - viz. Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone, City Centre and South Bristol Priority Areas, Avonmouth Severnside Enterprise Area and Filton Enterprise Area (in partnership with South Gloucestershire Council). We also collaborate closely with the Council's Employment and Skills, City Innovation and Economic Strategy Teams within other directorates.
