Prior to opening Energy Effects, I worked as an RN for over 35 years in health and human services. A BSc in Nursing and a M.A. in Organizational Behaviour allowed me to succeed in bedside nursing, management, education and facilitation. This unique set of skills, combined with the power of presence and understanding of energy has increased my success at helping others to achieve harmony and balance within themselves, their groups, and even their animals and pets.I work with individual clients to restore their mental, physical, emotional and spiritual balance using hands-on energy facilitation (Jin Shin Jyutsu), as well as teaching self-help methods. I also practice this therapy with animals and pets.My group work focuses on developing or restoring harmony within members or processes. Because our thoughts and emotions are actually energy, they affect our success in relationships. As a Public/Private/Partnership with the Alberta Government, Bethany Care, and Red Deer College, There were additional challenges related to each partner's expectation.Within the first three months, we completed operational planning, development and opening 95% of the facility and hired over 150 nursing care staff. Within the two years I was there, we marketed the facility and encouraged partnerships within the community, developed a young disabled program, developed and enhanced systems and processes within nursing and between departments.
