Director, Corporate and Marketing CommunicationsDirected corporate-wide communications ($4 million budget) for 1500-person global company. All advertising, annual report, collateral, competitive analysis, consultant and public relations, corporate visit program, direct mail and seminar campaigns, interactive multi-media CD-ROM newsletters (internal and external), special events (annual sales meeting, user group meeting), sales incentive programs, trade shows, video, WWW plan and execution.Accomplishments included:• Completely recreated corporate identity from a $100 million proprietary hardware company to a $300 million software and related services company.• Developed and distributed corporate standards manual CD-ROM to employees and business partners worldwide.• Redesigned and implemented hundreds of new corporate and product line brochures for different stages of the sales cycle.• Directed revenue-generating sales incentives programs with business partners including Hewlett-Packard and Sun Microsystems, and President’s Club.• Created award-winning (for content and design) annual reports; 1995 report, in particular, won five industry awards. 1996 report won the Gold Award in the International ARC Awards for the World’s Best Annual Reports.• Increased trade, industry, and business press coverage by 100% far exceeding the competition.• Introduced closed-loop direct marketing system, enabling company to track leads and measure and evaluate marketing programs.• Redesigned and expanded FileNet home page, which experienced exponential growth in content, interactivity and site traffic. Site visits grew from 6K/week in January 1996 to nearly 100K/week in October 1996.• Created comprehensive Corporate CD-ROM that was called “sex in a jewel box” by the sales force.• Led the public relations efforts for the merger and acquisitions of Saros, Watermark, and IFSL companies.
