I use a variety of tools and coding languages, including SQL, Access, SAS, and Visual Studio, to develop and manage bioinformatics applications. I also train the team to ensure everything runs smoothly. My responsibilities include overseeing data collection, performing analyses, and contributing to reports for funders and stakeholders. I work closely on privacy and data security plans, assess technical feasibility, and manage data availability to ensure successful project kick-offs. Additionally, I handle data requests, data use agreements, and other data management tasks. I support data analysis by providing necessary documentation and stats, create dynamic reports, assist with natural language processing, and design clinical dashboards. On the admin side, I work with information security, privacy, and IT teams to ensure VA data and privacy standards are met.
