CurrentRSK is a multidisciplinary health, safety and environmental consultancy working primarily in North Africa, Middle East, FSU, and Europe. We possess expertise in environmental impact assessment, socio economic assessment, soil investigation and remediation, brownfield redevelopment, landscape design, geo sciences and geophysical survey techniques, NORM measurement and management, asbestos, air quality, ecology and biodiversity, stakeholder communications, planning and permitting.Past projects while at RSK includes the following: Currently advising on planning and permitting issues for proposals to modify a number of gas terminals in the UK. Assistance provided includes discussions with regulatory authorities and working with EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) contractors. Involved in assisting a company in updating its COMAH safety case documentation to take into account the requirements of the CDOIF guidance when assessing MATTE potential. Have been involved in carrying out compliance audits for combustion plants at several locations for a UK car manufacture. Experience with several due diligence exercises recently, including those for a waste disposal company handling incinerator bottom ash at multiple locations and an oil refinery and associated oil distribution terminals. Carried out a review of raw material storage facilities at an oil terminal in Scotland to assist the client in environmental compliance activities and discussions with the Scottish Environment Protection Agency.
