Began as receptionist for Business Office and Secretary to Business Manager, Treasurer, Financial Aid Director, Facilities Manager and Summer Programs Director. Promoted in 1995 to Human Resources Director/Assistant to the Treasurer and Administrative Technology Coordinator. Moved from Fortean to Novell. In 1997 I was promoted to the Technology Assistant and within ~ 4 months promoted to the Laptop Program Director/Telecommunications Director. As Telecom Director o was on charge of implementing new Meridian phone system, complete add, changes and removals, record and upkeep main menu recording and record greeting for students sharing dorm room. It was also my responsibility to deal with all Crit Sits (Critical Situations) until all phons system, to include voicemail was back online. Except for dorms, all phones were digital, however, the Technology Department was experimenting with VoIp when I left the school. As Laptop Director it was my responsibility to work/contact all vendors, complete all hardware and software issues, create and maintain any and all correspondence (hard mailings, emails and phone calls) between the school and parents pertaining to the program. Finally, I was a classroom teacher for the first 8-10 weeks, with regard to caring for student and adult laptops and most software training pertaining to any software used by the school. The remainder of the year I taught students one-on-one in my office or small groups in our Tech Lab learning experiences such as working toward their A+, video, business technology and film making, to name a few.I left the school in 2014 and worked with An Islamic school, as Network Director.
