• Anchoring commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance planning and scheduling for rotating equipment and also managing 5 gas turbines (HITACHI) which are in operation at the job site.• Responsible for overseeing contractor maintenance works• Steering initiatives for developing effective maintenance strategy with Planning department to support Oil, Steam Power and Water Process• Administering the activities of 50 professionals comprising of HSE and QA/QC, Planner, Inspection Engineer, Supervisors, Mill Wrights, Machinist, Rotating Equipment Technicians and Fitters• Overseeing removal and inspection of piston rings, rider rings, cylinder liners, main bearings, connecting rods and lube oil system and also responsible for inspecting the alignment of the gas cooler fans• Additional responsibilities includes:o In-charge for overhauling and star-up works of the Reciprocating Compressors 5HHE-VG3, 3HHE-VG4 & 3HHE-VG5 Dresser-Rand and Ingersoll-Rand makeo Deftly handling various small project scopes like changing worn out equipment as Heat Exchangers, Section Bundles, Centrifugal Pumps with new ones and modifying the suction and discharge lines of pumps o Shutdown Coordinator for planning, directing and coordinating shutdown and start-up works in accordance to the project execution plan• Involved in overhauling and reconditioning of the component parts of instrument air compressors (both reciprocating and screw type) Ingersoll-Rand make and different types of multi-stage and single stage centrifugal and plunger pumps

•Assisted FEED & EPC execution team to develop technical specifications, material requisitions, and technical evaluation of bids and also supported to carry out vendor drawings/documents review for rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbine, gear boxes, agitators and package equipment. •Installs, removes, inspects and repairs mechanical spare parts like bearings, seals on typical mechanical equipment. Performs and gives directions to crews during major overhaul of gas turbines with or without external contractors and vendors.•Inspect and diagnose faults on major equipment, checking for corrosion, bent, wear or cracked parts. •Carry out preventive and defect maintenance of major equipment. •Reinstall, repaired units on locations and run off-load and stream tests to ensure proper operation. Check equipment and machinery for over-heating and leaks, and ensure that all safety devices are functioning normally.•Ensures use of proper tools and tackles on the job by assigned crews.•Executed troubleshooting of the lube oil and hydraulic circuits using P&I Diagrams•Responsible for recording daily maintenance work log in MAXIMO•Supervised commissioning activities that included witnessing the alignments of pumps and compressors•Managed workshop operation on boring, lathe and milling machines and dimensional inspection and run out.•Monitored installation, commissioning and start up of the plant specific rotating equipment and machinery and was also responsible for reporting the test results and findings through the applicable systems•Provided post commissioning feedback on engineering reviews, mechanical discipline related technical specifications, design drawings, layout plans, data sheets, project procedures, execution methodologies, and implementation schedule, SMP and vendor technical information.•Monitored reliability and quality assurance of rotating equipment during field inspection, shop testing, repairing, overhauling and troubleshooting.
