 Oversaw consolidated financial reporting and accounting for One & Only resort division of Kerzner International, comprised of seven luxury boutique resorts and related corporate entities.  Supervised five employees responsible for accounting of corporate entities and reporting for consolidated group. Dotted-line oversight of finance director at each One & Only property to ensure compliance with reporting deliverables.  Monitored property cash forecast, compliance with debt covenants and statutory reporting to comply with bank and government requirements.  Provided accounting support/guidance to properties and assisted with implementation of internal control policies.  Implemented global web-based reporting solution for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on consolidated basis for properties and corporate entities within One & Only division. Implemented purchase order system for global sales and marketing efforts allowing individuals from international locations to pull up web-based reports to show total spend and commitments against budgets. Dealt with multi-currency accounts and both USGAAP and IFRS.

Led Sarbanes Oxley initiative for the consolidated group. Held responsibility for preparing company's risk assessment, identified areas in scope for testing, liaised with internal and external audit to establish audit plans specific to SOX and documented entity level controls. Provided direction to business owners throughout the organization to complete documentation on internal control policies as applicable to areas of responsibility.

 Oversight of finance and accounting staff for Atlantis' Florida based entities, including marketing diviision, information technology, call center, cash and collections. Provided accounting support to the finance teams located in the Bahamas. Responsible for integrity of the balance sheet for all entities (FL/BAH) associated with the Bahamian operations.  Responsible for consolidated financial reporting Established sound accounting principals to improve on the accuracy, timing, and integrity of financial reporting, such as regularly completing balance sheet and bank reconciliations, segregation of duties, daily cash, and credit cards.  Implemented software solution to track guest and employee claims at the Bahamas properties, which provided comprehensive reporting of existing/potential claims, along with exposure to legal costs and settlements.

Drafted and filed all of Kerzner's SEC filings. Business partnered with various division leaders, company counsel and other finance personnel to complete all regulatory reporting requirements. Managed internal reporting deadlines for group working with finance leaders of other divisions. Oversaw accounting for Kerzner corporate entities, researching accounting guidance to document accounting for non-routine transactions. Provided accounting support for subsidiary/affiliates as requested.

Handled accounting functions for Kerzner corporate entities. Assumed responsibility for preparing Kerzner's consolidated financial statements. Implemented process that streamlined consolidated reporting at all levels of reporting within the Kerzner group.
