I am a motivated MSc Data Science graduate with a passion for working with all sorts of data. Since learning about this, the importance and opportunities of the collection and analysis of data has fascinated me. More generally, I am interested in IT, especially in programming. I have completed my Bachelor's degree in Information Science (informatiekunde) at the University of Amsterdam. Important skills I obtained during this time are related to Python programming, SQL, UML modeling, Statistics in R and SPSS, Psychology, Business and others. I also completed various courses in Cognitive psychology, out of personal interest. During my Bachelor's, I especially completed many courses in (mostly Python, and limited JS) programming, e.g. in recommender systems, web programming, data analysis and machine learning. During this time I developed my interest in working with data.Currently I am doing a Master's Programme in Data Science (formally part of a programme named Information Studies), where I have learned about e.g. important fundamentals of data science, advanced statistics in R and working with Machine Learning models in Python (e.g. PyTorch and TensorFlow). I also did a project related to mobility with the City of Amsterdam. analyzing traffic behaviour/congestion in various areas of the city.I am currently looking for a Master Thesis project, not yet looking for work to start after completion of my Master's Programme.Alongside my own studies, I am involved in the education of several courses within the Bachelor's Programme Informatiekunde of the University of Amsterdam.
