Born and raised in the corn-belt, I planted my roots in agriculture. Detasseling corn for five years as a teen encouraged a swift college education. Graduating corded in three years with a degree in Industrial Technology, I took a few years to travel the Midwest as an instructor for Design course work. Once settled in the soybean capital of the world, I committed to engineering and manufacturing development within the agricultural industry. Becoming a full time Agvocate blossomed through marcom experiences with grain industry publications, equipment manufacturers, ag technology developers, B2B, B2C and entrepreneurship. You name a business season; I've lived it and thrived. From budgetary reductions that position an EBITDA to mergers that double revenue YOY, through cross-functional teamwork I've celebrated much success. Moreso, I've earned a network of trusted advisors and partners that make working in Agriculture more of a passion than a paycheck. I am a sales-driven creative with a keen business acumen. I prefer to get my hands dirty as I seek to understand. I've built grain bins, websites, tower dryers and curriculum that beckons the VOC. My decisions are based on data and fueled by profit potential. I love my family, anything that wags a tail and solving big problems that contribute to sustaining the global population.
