Having recruited for tech roles in Tulsa since 2015, I started Rogue Recruitment to raise the level of support & care I could offer candidates & companies. Like so many other entrepreneurs, I had this vision that there had to be a better way. Staffing shouldn’t be so painful. Recruiters shouldn’t be a “necessary evil.” After beginning my recruitment career in Dallas at 21, I moved to Tulsa in 2015 as my “one to two year MAX” plan. When I passed that two year mark, instead of moving away…I bought my first house. I met my husband playing softball at Carl Smith Sports Complex. We got married on Cherry Street. We had our children at St. John’s. I had no idea how much I would fall in love with the city & community. My “for now” plan has turned into the city where my husband & I are raising our family. How I introduced Rogue Recruitment in 2018: "Somewhere along the way, staffing got turned into numbers…What that resulted in was recruiters who cared more about keeping their job than helping you find one. The most basic part of recruitment - humans - was replaced with numbers. Recruiters became more focused on how quarterly reports looked to out-of-state shareholders than the impact they were having on their community as a whole. That’s why we went rogue. To go against the grain to get rid of all that extra noise that has complicated what should be a pretty simple industry. We’re not here for any gimmicks or tricks.
