Development of Polymer - Lunar Regolith Composite for Applications in Additive Manufacturing.• Develop process for compounding and extruding polymer system with variety of lunar regolith loading levels.• Additively manufacture the composite and test the properties through TGA, DSC, Rheology, DMA, and Tensile.

Understanding Methods of Tuning the Performance of Tessellated Bistable Mechanical Metamaterials• Study the viscoelastic and geometric biasing of bistable structures by designing, testing, and validating structures.• Utilize SolidWorks to develop tessellating patterns comprised of bistable metamaterials to produce complexstructures that can be applied to arbitrary surfaces that require large and repeatable energy absorption.• Perform quasi-static and dynamic testing of materials to better understand how geometry, material profile, andmanufacturing technique affect the performance in comparison to theoretical calculations and finite modeling.

• Developing a polymer material intended for electrical insulation for extreme environments that was processed on aProcess 11 twin screw extruder and tested to meet certain thermal and electrical parameters.• Developing a post processing technique to improve key parameters focused on with materials, and collectedpreliminary results for multiple polymer systems, then produced a standard operating procedure for future workusing this process.• Presenting technical work regularly to the team, and presenting a high-level overview of the project to uppermembers of exec.

Worked alongside senior staff members to lead new groups of students on a weekly basis. Managed ongoingconstruction projects for the ministry team in the communities of San Augustine, TX and Eagle Butte, SD.• Planned, organized, and oversaw 63 different construction projects for 38 different homeowners andcommunity partners.• Responsible for budget management and supplies for various construction projects.• Led 14 other staff members and over 720 students to complete a variety of different construction projects.
