I’m always looking to improve workflow and to reduce redundancy. Pre Reg Surgical patients are now pre registered out a week compared to one or two days.Currently working on PI Lean Hospital Project.Used my problem solving skills to suggest that the coumadin clinic be moved to Women’s Center to help patient flow in Pavilion A. Which moved any where from 30 to 60 patients a day from Pav A. Lead role on Cerner conversion project, As a SME, Super Trainer and Super User. Developed customized training and teaching of training classes. Mentored other schedulers and registrars as well as other areas in the hospital. Took over the duties of Kronos payroll for Central Scheduling and Out Patient services. Developed patient tracking report for out patient testing. I have extensive knowledge in all areas of registration.Staffing Coordinator: Worked directly with House Supervisors as well as Nursing Administration. Negotiated Agency contracts. Suggested the need for Float pool nursing by using nurses that like to go to different areas daily. Eliminated my role as Staffing Coordinator.
