I love the concept of a gratitude resume and am grateful for my spectacular work opportunities and the wonderful people who guided, taught, coached, trained, and inspired me in my non-profit and corporate career. I have more than 30 years of communications and development experience in non-profit, corporate and advertising agency industries. Philanthropy is my life. I started my career with the United Way and the American Heart Association. I served as a national spokesperson for the American Optometric Association's InfantSEE program and am an advocate for the Alzheimer's Association. I am a Phi Mu Foundation Trustee and serve as Development Chair with responsibility for fundraising efforts, major gifts, capital and comprehensive campaigns, stewardship, and donor relations.I am also a three-time author and international public speaker. My three published books were written to help others by sharing my experiences as the mother of a child with severe vision problems and the daughter of a woman with Alzheimer's Disease.
