*Virtual Nutrition Counseling Available*Does the vending machine call your name at 3 every day?Feel sleepy after lunch and unable to concentrate?Unsure what ingredients on food labels really mean?I am passionate about educating others that food acts as preventative medicine. Based on this concept, I help people lose weight, improve symptoms of sickness, increase energy and decrease sugar cravings. My program, The Power of Food Education, promotes overall health through assisting individuals, families and larger organizations making informed food decisions by combining the most recent scientific findings with specific interventions that lead to health and balance.Success stories include: long-term weight-loss, decreased symptoms of gastroenterology and neurological issues, lower lipid panels, successful treatment of food allergies, less joint pain, diminished acne, lower sugar levels.Through my virtual private practice and my corporate wellness engagements, my clients learn how to become proactive about their health by learning to approach food with a different mindset - - one that does not acknowledge fad diets, but one that understands the food choices we make shape the rest of our lives. My enthusiasm for healthy living is shown during all of my corporate wellness workshops, where my goal is always to teach employees that it is possible to feel younger, more energized and more focused at work due to making the right food choices. I represent the face of nutrition education by emphasizing the benefits of eating whole foods rather than diet foods that trade nutrients for artificial ingredients and the power of the mind-body connection.
