Qa Test Lead
CurrentServe as the QA Lead on an IT transformation project for a banking client to upgrade three current loan systems to an FIS ALS loan system. Supervise seven-member software QA testing team in testing and implementing quality-assurance and quality-control methodologies to ensure the new loan system complies with client business requirement specifications.• Conduct formal and informal product design reviews throughout the software development lifecycle to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules and potential issues. • Manage the creation of over 6000 test cases for ALS application testing.• Track requirement changes to ensure that business requirement documents and change requests are being updated in compliance with the change management process. • Prepare test estimates, test plans, test strategies, metrics reports and review with project management team.• Provide QA status metrics and update to the project team in weekly project leaders meeting.• Work closely with FIS vendor testing team to identify tasks and manage defect.• Prioritize testing task and assign to QA team members.• Setup and manage QA team SharePoint site and ALM/Quality Center to manage QA documentation and defects.• Create and manage defect workflows and security in ALM/Quality center.• Create and manage system test batch cycles schedule to ensure that the batch cycles were executed to meet the needs of the testing team.• Collaborate with IT and vendor development and test resources to plan the testing effort for seventy seven interface applications across multiple platforms.• Create a risk based test strategy to meet project testing milestones.
