Robin Dvorak is the founder of Blue Egg, the marketing department for small businesses. She is a seasoned strategic marketing executive with more than 25 years of global experience in Fortune 500 organizations as well as small, private companies across the technology and finance industries.Prior to founding Blue Egg, Robin led marketing for the companies comprising the Updata brand: Updata Advisors, a leading investment banking firm serving the information technology industry; and Updata Partners, a growth-stage venture capital firm investing in software and software-enabled services companies. During her tenure at Updata, she completed re-branding programs and implemented online marketing solutions that increased the firms' visibility, and increased subscribers to Updata’s news and research. Prior to joining Updata, Robin was Managing Director, Programs at the Industrial Research Institute (IRI), a leading cross-industry business association of senior R&D executives. At IRI, she led a corporate re-branding initiative that grew member participation in key programs, achieved technology-driven improvements in customer service, and improved operational efficiency.Earlier, Robin was Director of Marketing Communications for American Power Conversion’s (APC) $350 million desktop power solutions division. She began her career with AT&T’s Caribbean and Latin America division, where she spent eight years in consumer marketing and strategic planning roles for the international long distance services business unit.Robin earned an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a BA from the University of Notre Dame.
