Kansas City Neighborhood Academy (KCNA) is a K-6 public charter school designed to transformeducational outcomes for the children of Kansas City’s urban core. A STEAM school - or a school with a thematic focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math - KCNA is committed to equipping each of its students with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive as 21st century citizens. Responsible for all aspects directly related to the residency program (pre-residency, residency, post-residency, measurements) and to the education efforts that directly impact the residency and MTR partner communities (MTRReads, MTRCamp, etc.)

As Director of Education I am responsible for oversight of the 4-year training and development program of the MTR, which includes the Residency year and Post-Residency year curriculum, program evaluation, and human resources.

Responsible for all aspects o the MTR that pertain to the training of Residents during the 12-month Residency year, specifically including the Masters of Urban Education, the Apprenticeship process, all MTR Seminars and the corresponding evaluation.

Provide oversight to graduate coursework, which includes course scheduling, faculty selection and support, academic advisor
