I am passionate about purposeful work, efficiency and creating beautiful things. During my time in the education field, I focused my approach to teaching and creating content on identifying the unique needs of the children and parents to best serve their needs. This user-centered approach determined the lessons I taught and later how I could best reach parents with my educational content. My educational roles also taught me how to collaborate with co-workers, communicate with parents, manage assistants, institute classroom management systems, create goals for students and evaluate student progress. When I began creating educational content, I learned how to research parent needs and behaviors to inform my content. I also dedicated energy to learn basic web design, analytics and editing skills. In recent years, I have been a committed full-time mom while also juggling higher education goals and learning new UX skills. I have always been an independent learner and self-motivated to achieve my goals.
