Or they could be a pension provider with a huge customer base that they want to engage with better. I help them work out what they need to say and the best way to say it to get the results they want – anything from a bigger market share, to fewer complaints, to a better response rate on a survey.I work alongside project and relationship managers, but I'm client-facing. My first job in marketing was with the consulting team at Work Group, an employer marketing specialist. Employer marketing is all about understanding why people do the jobs they do, what kind of people their employer wants to attract, and then using that knowledge to develop a proposition. I got to meet loads of people, ask them nosey questions, and try to understand what made them get up in the morning.
