• Provide tier 3 support at Microsoft in the SharePoint Portal Server group for MS SQL servers where the SQL servers are used as back end servers to SharePoint Portal Servers. This includes the management of the servers.

• Provide systems engineer support for the department. Some of these tasks include network configuration and troubleshooting, standard build processes, firewall configuration, server access and etc.
• Write documentation around the SQL server build process. Create forms used to get the required information needed to configure the SQL server, configuring the server in preparation for the SQL install, installing the.
• Automate the deployment of SQL server to drastically reduce build times and ensure the same standard and quality build every time. This included the slip streaming of service packs and hot fixes and using custom.
