ARLANDER KEYS (RET.), 09/2015 to Present, operating as an independent contractor with JUDICIAL ARBITRATION & MEDIATION SERVICES (“JAMS”) in Chicago, Illinois Assisted Judge Keys in his role as Consultant to the Investigatory Stop and Protective Pat Down Agreement between the ACLU, City of Chicago and Chicago Police Department. Experience includes analytical interpretation and application of statistical data to legal questions; legal analysis, research and writing of public reports, letters to parties; memos, etc.; design of electronic survey questions for data review of investigatory stop reports; strategic planning with stakeholders and experts regarding statistical models and public policy reform of CPD’s stop and frisk policies and procedures; legal consultation and advice (re: probable outcomes of legal issues and data trends using knowledge of legal precedents).

Performed labeling and legal research in coordination with data scientists to aid with concept research machine learning models.
