I was a co-founder of a community non-profit, driven by a commitment to addressing an observed need to address sexual exploitation in Whatcom County. With a passion for the health and well-being of youth in my community, I, along with my partner and colleagues, established an organization to create impactful solutions, mobilize resources, and cultivate a collective spirit dedicated to making a lasting difference. We successfully developed an integrated community response protocol, involving the Juvenile Justice System, Local Law Enforcement and the FBI, the Department of Children Youth and Families, and the relevant service providers.
