Responsibilities include: Preparation for laboratory experiments to be performed by students studying Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering. Working closely with lead professor in designing, implementing and improving experiments. Assisting research professors in their research by providing machined parts and fixtures per their designs and objectives. Troubleshoot and repair various electronic equipment such as power supplies, computers, industrial RF heaters and oscilloscopes as used in engineering laboratories in an upper educational environment. Serve as safety officer and procurement officer for the Vanderbilt Aerospace Club.

Responsibilities included: set-up, operation and maintenance of wireless microphones, wireless intercom,one-way and electronic and mechanical enhancements in support of wireless gear for television production. Proficient use of various software packages such as Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Accel Schematic, Tango Schematic, Motorola software, Proficiency with the operation of RF service monitors, spectrum analyzers, return loss bridges and signal generators. Worked as a teammember in the design and fabrication of automatic switchgear for on air television program servers and centralized power supply units with alarms. Lead AutoCAD training for coworkers. Maintained and operated two-way radio communications as used in both live and studio television production. Coordination of multiple VHF and UHF RF frequencies for use of wireless gear for live and recorded television productions.
