In total, I have almost 25 years of experience as a financial, operational, and compliance audit practitioner. My experience includes:In the U.S.:- In late 2019, I left warner Bros and joined the Global SOX Assurance (GSA) team at CBRE as a Director. It has been a wonderful experience working with the team and collectively advancing the department's goals and objectives as well our professional growth and development- In late 2016, I joined the Warner Bros. Financial Compliance team as a Manager, Financial Compliance and when AT&T acquired TimeWarner in mid-2018 I transitioned to the role of Manager, Financial Policies and Procedures and among other responsibilities I was responsible for internal audit issues tracking and follow-up - In early 2012, I left Princess and from 2012 to 2016 I worked as an independent internal audit / financial controls consultant including a stint of two years as a Healthcare Compliance Internal Audit Consultant at Amgen focusing on audits related to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (commonly known as Obamacare) and one year at Warner Bros. focusing on the TV production, licensing, and distribution business as well as participations and residuals- In late 2005, I started my professional career in the U.S. at Princess Cruises as a Senior Audit Consultant and was promoted to Manager, Internal Audit/Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance and took charge of the company's SOX programIn South Africa:- After leaving Remmogo, I worked for nearly two years as a Senior Internal Auditor for the City of Kimberley before emigrating to the U.S.;- After public accounting, I worked for two years as a financial manager at Remmogo Business Finance;- I received my foundation in accounting, financial reporting, and consulting by working for more than four years in public accounting at Kessel Feinstein (a member firm of Grant Thornton) and then Fisher Hoffman Sithole (a member firm of Pannell Kerr Forster (PKF))My technical expertise includes: - Financial Controls Compliance (Internal Controls over Financial Reporting)- Operations Internal Audit- Healthcare Compliance Internal Audit- Entertainment TV Revenue, Participations, and Residuals Audit- Continuous Controls Monitoring and Assurance- IT Audit- Fraud Investigation
