My current contract is with Pathrise Talent, where I am an Applications Career Coach helping Fellows successfully focus their job search, identify suitable roles, source, and apply to positions in several industry tracks. These include Finance & Banking, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Marketing, UX/UI Design, Sales, and Human Resources. I managed a team of Career Services Advisors that provided a high volume of employment related services for a campus of 2300 students with 500 degreed graduates annually in creative fields. Worked with students from their enrollment to beyond graduation with career readiness and helping them in locating part time student jobs, internships in their field and ultimately obtaining their first professional position as graduates. Fields of study included Design, Media Arts, Fashion and Culinary Arts.

I was initially hired to expand the business development activity to engage area employers to participate in our internship program and employment of the graduates in allied health professions. Was quickly promoted to manage a team of Career Services Advisors to develop job leads, assist graduates, and present Career Development seminars. Achieved budgeted objectives in compliance with all employment regulations.

I was the managing partner of this business with two areas of focus which included a staffing franchise and the design and delivery of Human Resources consulting projects primarily for information technology companies.Recruited, trained, and coached a nationwide team of virtual recruiters consistently ranked in top 3 franchises in the company. Also served as the POC (point of contact) between 30 franchisors and key client contracts to ensure a smooth operational process and client satisfaction.Developed and delivered projects in organizational design, staff assessment, recruitment, training, compensation, and diversity education. Led sales and developed marketing strategies, negotiated contracts and service level agreements.

I was recruited as a member of the consultant team formed to determine a path forward to develop the company. Signed on as the VP of Human Resources and assembled the key management team that brought the company through the IPO and led an aggressive recruiting campaign to hire over 250 associates in Marketing, Systems, Customer Service, Brokerage Operations, Human Resources and Finance.Established the initial HR infrastructure, which included the implementation of comprehensive benefits programs, automated payroll and HRIS, compensation structure, incentive stock option programs, the recruitment process, and an HR department committed to supporting all associates.

I was initially brought on to lead the recruitment drive to hire computer systems professionals for a new technology division. Developed a full service Human Resources department to support the new organization. Directed staff and delivered programs covering a wide range of employee and management training.
