Translating effective brand positioning into real revenue gains, Robin increased new business at Dolce by 40% companywide and oversaw the implementation and execution of all advertising, collateral and promotional initiatives for the group. She led the sales and marketing transitions for new properties joining the portfolio and integrating them into the brand. Robin started in sales and marketing in 1983 in New York City beginning with several years at The Helmsley Palace Hotel. Her experience includes holding various senior level management positions with Summit International Hotels, Grand Bay Hotels and Resorts, L’Ermitage Hotels in Los Angeles and the opening of The Renaissance Hotel in Times Square. She has led companies in their implementation of marketing and promotional programs to help achieve greater productivity and results. Her reach includes the creation and implementation of sales training programs and the development and execution of quality standards for sales offices nationwide. Robin has spearheaded revenue-producing corporate management initiatives including seminars, special events and conferences. During her years on property, she successfully negotiated partnerships, and co-marketing agreements with major corporations and travel companies including American Airlines, Virgin Atlantic, Diners Club International, and American Express. She formed strategic overseas relationships in Italy, England, France and Germany, and increased international business by 30% for the various hotel companies.
