At the Structured Lending department I am responsible for for structuring and executing of complex financing solutions for the Dutch Mid Corporate market. Complex transaction are among others mergers and acquisitions, buy-and-build solutions and multi bank deals (club/syndicated deals). My key activities are among others:- Final responsibility for the whole debt structuring process for mid corporates;- External and internal stakeholder management;- Creating of tailor-made financing structures;- Risk analysis, writing of credit analysis and financial modeling;- Complex loan documentation (a.o. LMA documentation); and- Coaching and mentoring of juniors and trainees.

At the Acquisition Finance & Structured Lending department I was responsible for structuring and executing of financing solutions for mergers and acquisitions for the Dutch Mid Corporate market (both private equity and non-private equity owned companies). My functions were analyst (10-2015 till 9-2017) and associate (10-2017 till 9-2019).My key activities were among others:- Strategic client conversations, commercial pitching and negotiating term sheets;- Creating of tailor-made financing structures;- Risk analysis, writing of credit analysis and financial modeling;- Responsibility for the internal process with departments like risk management and the legal department; and- Complex loan documentation.

During my time as trainee I followed an intensive training program for high potential bankers and in the main time I worked at the department responsible for credit applications for Dutch SME's. My key activities in this department were:- Deal structuring;- Managing internal financing process;- Advising SME entrepreneurs; and- Start-up of a project team for acquisitions for SME’s.

The goal of my research was to develop a new acquisitionstrategy for new markets of Scholten Awater. My research was based on a mix between quantitative, qualitative (interviews) and desk research.
