After 16 years (man and boy) in the public sector working in Local Government, housing and education roles, I made the jump over into the big bad private sector in October 2019. I’m now in partnership with Alex and Louise Wright as Director of Operations at Knapton Wright, a creative marketing agency in Caistor, Lincolnshire. Our team generates exceptional results with and for a range of small, medium and large businesses. Personally, I’ve always liked tinkering with tech and all things online. So much so that it’s become my career path. I’m best described as an “analytical creative”; using a mix of data and storytelling to lead on successful campaigns. I’ll always be a fan of rolling up my sleeves and diving into code but these days I take a more strategic and directive approach, coaching others to become successful.Out of work, I’m a big fan of the great outdoors. In fact, one of my favourite quotes is: “Adventure may hurt you, but monotony will kill you.” Whether I'm hiking up a mountain, canoeing on a lake or climbing a crag, I use the time as a way to keep my mind sharp and body in shape.Bonus fun-facts: I’m red-green colourblind; I only drink Earl Grey after 3pm, and I was once naked on national TV.To sum up, I'm a highly driven, creative individual who constantly invests time in learning how to improve and adapt to challenging situations.
